The new proportions and modern styling were a hit with customers to the extent that the Ford outsold Chevrolet in 1957 for the first time since 1935. I am listing this for an older friend that is not computer savvy ,So any questions should be directed to him , Call him anytime between 7AM and 8PM MST , @ 4O6=59I=9O9O, and he would be happy to answer any questions not covered below. This is just a good ol' work truck , the only rust through I can see is on the lower lip of the hood opening , (shown in pictures ) , The cab corners are solid, as are the floors, door edges, and the rest. There is minor damage on the body , consisting of the dent in the fender where I got too close with a Bobcat , while plowing snow . ( easy fix )a couple dents on top , and another , where something got stuck when the hoist was being lowered ,above the rear window, (another easy fix ) ( I can repair any of this easily and I am a novice ) If your body man says these are difficult , ,,, well , then you need to get a REAL body man . Anyway , the steps , floors , etc, are very solid .it has normal scratches and chips that come from 60 years of use , This is ...

*****SELLING WITH NO RESERVE*****so please be serious when bidding, you might own it !!!!!!!!!! 1957 FORD CONVERTIBLE FAIRLANE 500.....I recently found this car in a barn/garage...car was owned by a women who is 69 years young and the car was bought by her father for her on her16th birthday in 1963. Car was bought new then traded in 1963, that's when they bought it. I bought the car about 3 months ago, before that it has been in storage since 1971 but motor was run up until the mid 90's. Motor does turn over good and has good spark. I did not it have running myself but I think with a little TLC it would start and run. I am not sure what the motor is, maybe a 292 or 312, it is automatic with power steering. The car is completely original with good clean Pa. Title in my name. Will need complete gone over as far as the brakes, fuel system etc. 114,000 original miles. Body is pretty nice overall but does have some rust issue....real good frame. If serious please call me and can explain where ...
